ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue firefighters were forced to respond to a house two times on Monday when a fire rekindled after they left. Just after 7 on Monday, AFR responded to a home on 55th Street in northwest Albuquerque. The home was a boarded-up residence with smoke coming from a bedroom window. AFR was able to control the fire within 15 minutes.
Firefighters were then called to the same home just after 10:30 a.m. after the flame appeared to reignite in the bedroom. That fire was controlled within ten minutes. AFR says no injuries were reported at either of the two fires.
