Albuquerque Police search for man accused of shooting at his girlfriend’s house

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police are searching for an 18-year-old man who is accused of shooting at his girlfriend’s house as she tried to get away with her infant child following a domestic dispute, police said.

Alijah Archuleta was charged with several crimes as a result of the shooting on March 29, 2024. n On March 30, officers were alerted that Archuleta returned to his girlfriend’s home and he was armed with gun, police said. As officers approached the home at 717 59th St., NW, officers fired shots, and Archuleta fled from police.

Archuleta is charged with aggravated assault upon a household member, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of false imprisonment, shooting at or from a motor vehicle without great bodily harm, and child abuse without great bodily harm or death.
