ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department’s burglary unit has been making progress in addressing theft around the city. But even with some recent arrests, they’re still urging the community to be on the lookout as summer approaches.

The burglary unit started in 2023, with a focus on residential and commercial burglary cases. They recently got two additional detectives for the unit, the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) says.
