The proposal says the combined water and sewer bill for a typical single-family house using 5,000 gallons of water should go up a little more than $6 a month. The water authority board chair says customers would still have some of the most affordable water and sewer services in the region. If approved, the increase would start July 1 reflecting on August bills.
