On the latest edition of WWE RAW, WWE announced Becky Lynch‘s next challenger for the Women’s World Championship. Lynch won the title a few weeks ago on WWE RAW by winning the battle royal.

Last week on WWE RAW, Becky Lynch, addressing her title win, faced a confrontation from Liv Morgan, who demanded a title match. Nia Jax then intervened, leading to a brief brawl between Morgan and Jax, culminating in a match. Morgan emerged victorious against Jax and, subsequently, confronted Becky Lynch backstage, who agreed to give her a title shot.

During the latest WWE RAW, Michael Cole interviewed Becky Lynch. In the interview, Cole inquired about the current talent on the roster. During the interview, Lynch commended the roster, highlighted Alba Fyre as the longest-reigning women’s champion across any title, acknowledged Isla Dawn and Kiana James, recognized Lyra Valkyria and their history, and praised Zelina Vega’s passion.

Lynch also mentioned that she fell ill at WrestleMania but refused to offer excuses. She admitted that Rhea Ripley, the former WWE Women’s World Champion, was the better woman that night and emerged victorious.

Liv Morgan stormed out, demanding answers about Becky Lynch’s proposed title match and expressing frustration over being neglected. Lynch agreed to give her a title match, stating that she would put her championship on the line against Morgan at the WWE King & Queen of the Ring show.

Lynch also pointed out that Liv Morgan has never defeated her in a singles match. While Liv acknowledged this fact, she expressed that it gave her a newfound purpose, something she felt was lacking before.

Becky Lynch confronted by Damage CTRL on WWE RAW

After the match confirmation on WWE RAW, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan faced a confrontation from Damage CTRL, the faction recently drafted to the red brand. Dakota Kai addressed the match, criticizing Morgan for what she viewed as an unearned title shot and asserting that it was time to remind Lynch and Morgan who runs the show.

As Damage CTRL surrounded the ring, preparing to attack Lynch and Morgan, a shocking twist occurred. Liv Morgan decided to leave the ring, leaving Lynch to defend herself. In a moment of trouble, Lynch’s former WWE NXT rival, Lyra Valkyria, made a surprising appearance to rescue her from the impending attack by Damage CTRL. This intervention prompted Damage CTRL to retreat from their assault.
