Just over a month out from its 2024 presentation, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has officially unveiled the full artist lineup for its Who Stage. Now renowned as one of the premiere venues for up-and-coming artists, the coyly named stage has previously shone a spotlight on musicians who have risen to the forefront of their genres. With a downright prophetic reputation, the event’s most intimate stage guarantees an early peak at the stars of tomorrow.
Through the course of Bonnaroo 2024, the Who Stage will host a total of 27 acts evenly distributed across its four-day program from Thursday, June 13 to Sunday, June 16. Given the intention to showcase performers before their rises to prominence, the bill is notably short on household names each year–in the moment, at least. In the past few decades, the Who Stage has launched a wealth of icons to their present status, including Portugal. The Man in 2009, Mac DeMarco in 2013, Marren Morris in 2016 and Jack Harlow and Jacob Collier in 2017, among many others. In more recent memory, the stage highlighted jam scene darlings Daniel Donato and Karina Rykman in 2022 and alternative pathbreakers Friko and Winona Fighter in 2023.
This year’s bill features performances from The Foxies, Happy Landing, Vincent Lima, Abby Holiday, Houseplant, Lowdown Brass Band, Boot Scootin’ Boogie Nights, Jive Talk, Jobi Riccio, Amira Elfeky, Lily Fitts and Texas Hill. As a microcosm of the broader festival, the Who Stage features a wide variety of genres and styles, some of which are guaranteed to grow as the sound of tomorrow.
