Weekend one of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival has begun. One of the most exciting parts of the three-day festival for both attendees and fans watching from home is each of the surprise guests performers will bring on stage.
Last year some of the most talked about surprises included Zendaya, Post Malone and John Legend. This year many have theorized that Taylor Swift could be making a surprise appearance; she is on a break from her sold out Eras Tour, after all.
Here’s a rundown of the surprise performances fans couldn’t get enough of during weekend one of Coachella.
1. Shakira
Not only did the artist surprise fans on stage during Bizarrap’s set, the Grammy award winning artist, announced that she is going on tour in late 2024.

2. Billie Eilish
The “What Was I Made For” artist returned to Coachella as a surprise guest, this year joining headliner Lana Del Rey on the main stage. The pair performed “Ocean Eyes” and “Video Games.”

Peso Pluma brought out Becky G to the main stage to perform their song “Chanel.” Fans noted how special it was for Becky G to join Peso Pluma on stage this year as she had brought him out as her special guest last year.
