Caltrans has scheduled a public meeting on April 11 in Agoura Hills to discuss upcoming 101 Freeway closures for construction work on the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing. California Department of Transportation 101 Freeway closures and Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing: Caltrans presents information about upcoming overnight freeway closures — mid- to late April — in order to lift and place girders (concrete beams) over U.S. Highway 101 (Ventura Freeway) lanes for construction of the wildlife crossing in Agoura Hills. Youth 4 Hoods Coalition: Youth, parents and representatives from community-based organization and schools get together to “enhance skills to address substance misuse by youth in the Northeast San Fernando Valley,” 6 p.m. The group also promotes community events.
