Drier and warmer weather around New Mexico

Wednesday morning is cold and mostly quiet. Temperatures are starting from the 20s, 30s and 40s, so be sure to bundle up. There is light snow coming down in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, including Angel Fire.

Snow will end today, but rain showers and storms will be possible in the northeast highlands and far east-central plains this afternoon and evening. The rest of the state will stay sunny and dry all day. Temperatures will be warmer than Tuesday, but still cooler than normal, climbing into the 50s and 60s.

Thursday will be a fully dry day, with mostly to partly sunny skies, and even warmer temperatures. While the morning will be cold and around or below freezing, the afternoon will be mild, with temperatures climbing around ten to fifteen degrees, back above average, in the 60s and 70s.
