Universal Pictures has debuted the second official trailer for Twisters, arriving in theaters in July this summer. Yep, after a 28 year wait, they’ve finally, finally made a sequel to the awesome natural disaster movie summer hit Twister from 1996. It’s made by the director of Minari previously. This summer, the epic studio disaster movie returns with an adrenaline-pumping, seat-gripping, big-screen thrill ride that puts audiences right in direct contact with one of nature’s most wondrous—and destructive—forces. Twisters has an exciting new cast, lead by Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell as a reckless tornado tour guide operator, and Anthony Ramos, along with Nope’s Brandon Perea, Sasha Lane, Daryl McCormack, Kiernan Shipka, Nik Dodani, and Maura Tierney. The plot again seems to be – what if some people get way too obsessed with chasing tornadoes and it gets dangerous. As usual, right?
