Is Luke Kleintank leaving FBI: International?
Yes, Luke Kleintank is leaving FBI: International after Season 3.
As per Deadline, Kleintank’s leading character will not be returning in Season 4. The upcoming season was renewed by CBS earlier in April 2024. But, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Scott Forrester will be making his final appearance way before that on May 7, a couple of episodes prior to the season 3 finale.
After three successful seasons and over 50 episodes, Kleintank is departing due to personal reasons. The official statement issued by him reads:
“After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave FBI: International. This decision is driven by my unwavering commitment to my family, whose love and well-being are paramount in my life.”
The statement continues:
“I’m profoundly thankful for the extraordinary cast and crew of the show, who have not only been colleagues but also a family away from home. Their unwavering dedication and remarkable talents have made every moment on set an unforgettable journey that has enriched my life in countless ways. Lastly, I would also like to extend my thanks to the fans who have supported us through the first three seasons.”
Kleintank isn’t the first crucial cast member to leave the series. Even Heida Reed left the show early in Season 3.
Is Missy Peregrym leaving FBI?
Missy Peregrym’s Maggie Bell is not confirmed to leave FBI after Season 6, but she could get a temporary exit.
The events of FBI Season 6 Episode 10 teased a possible exit for Maggie from the upcoming three episodes of the season. The character has been put in danger several times in past seasons but things are different for her this time. In Episode 10, she was worried about Ella, whom she started taking care of after her mother Jessica passed away.
Maggie’s recent death scare threatened the possibility of Ella becoming an orphan once again. As a result, OA and Isobel discussed putting Maggie on a temporary leave. So, her temporary departure from FBI could be a possibility that’s entertained by the writers for the end of Season 6. Missy Peregrym’s Maggie isn’t leaving the show yet, but she could be benched.
