ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Calling all film buffs: This weekend, Film Prize Junior New Mexico is hosting its third annual film festival at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
A total of 167 short films will be played on seven different screens throughout the weekend.
More than 80 schools represented the rural and tribal communities of New Mexico, with many of the films addressing Native representation, culture, and language.

Red carpet interviews, a final judge’s panel, and an awards ceremony will all take place at the Hispanic Cultural Center’s Journal Theatre on Sunday, April 7.
