Eventually, Rexxx becomes the fire station’s resident dog and teams up with Shane to save the firehouse from closure.

Firehouse Dog stars Josh Hutcherson, Bruce Greenwood, Bill Nunn, Scotch Ellis Loring, Teddy Sears, and others. The part of Rexxx was played by four different dogs, named Arwen, Frodo, Rohan, and Stryder.
