Former AFR firefighter accused of rape has conditions of release modified

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of the three now former Albuquerque Fire Rescue firefighters accused of raping a woman during an off-duty party had his conditions of release modified again.

Carlsbad man pleads guilty to federal drug offenses

Aden Heyman, Angel Portillo, Anthony Martin, and the alleged victim were drinking in Martin’s apartment on Menaul last July. The woman told police the three men held her down and took turns raping her.
All three have pled not guilty to their charges and had their GPS monitors removed due to following court orders. Aden Heyman’s lawyer asked the court to allow his client to travel to Sandoval County for a new job. Judge Brit Baca-Miller granted their motion but Heyman’s other conditions of release will remain in place.
