The anime will begin by revealing the reason behind god’s obsession with challenging humans to these games. It will also shed more light on the god’s chosen few, The Apostles, and how they fit into all this. Moreover, the first episode will introduce the protagonists—Fay, the super rookie, and Leoleshea, the former god. It will also explain the latter’s reasons for seeking the world’s strongest player.
The anime’s main cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as Fay, Akari Kito as Leoleshea, Hina Tachibana as Pearl Diamond, Kanna Nakamura as Nel, and Ami Koshimizu as Miranda. Other cast members include Kent Ito as Dax and Miku Ito as Kelritch.
The anime is based on the light novel of the same name by Kei Sazane, which is illustrated by Toiro Tomose.
