Gun buyback event planned for May 11 in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe and the District Attorney’s Office are partnering with gun violence prevention advocates to get rid of unwanted firearms. A gun buyback event is set for May 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Santa Fe Municipal Courthouse.


New Mexico Supreme Court gives students chance to hear live oral arguments

People can get a $250 gift card for assault-style weapons, $200 for semi-automatics, and $100 for long guns, revolvers, and pistols. Gift cards will be available for Brewers Gas, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Smiths. Guns must be in working order and not loaded.
