Inundații puternice într-o regiune rusă din Urali după ruperea unui baraj. Rusia anunță că a evacuat 4.000 de oameni

Peste 4.000 de persoane au fost evacuate sâmbătă din orașul rus Orsk, regiunea Orenburg, la granița cu Kazahstan, după ce un baraj a cedat din cauza topirii zăpezii și a provocat inundații de amploare, au anunțat autoritățile regionale, informează AFP, citată de News.ro.

„4.208 persoane, dintre care 1.019 copii, au fost evacuate”, a anunţat serviciul de presă al guvernatorului regional, Denis Pasler, pe Telegram. De asemenea, peste 2.500 de case au fost inundate în această regiune.

Într-un mesaj separat, Pasler a precizat că persoanele evacuate au fost redirecţionate „către centre de cazare temporară” şi a anunţat un ajutor financiar excepţional.

Înregistrările video publicate de minister au arătat cum locuitorii sunt ajutați să urce în bărcile de salvare, purtând veste de salvare.

Vineri, autoritățile locale din regiunea Orenburg, din munții Urali, au cerut locuitorilor comunităților de pe malul râului să se evacueze după ruperea barajului. În ultimele zile, mai multe provincii rusești din Siberia și Urali și părțile învecinate ale Kazahstanului au fost inundate, notează Reuters.

Potrivit autorităţilor regionale, barajul este proiectat oficial pentru un nivel al Uraliului, principalul râu din regiune, de 5,5 m, faţă de nivelul actual de 9,6 metri.

Aceste inundaţii provocate de topirea zăpezilor afectează şi Kazahstanul.

Președintele kazah Kassym-Jomart Tokayev a declarat că inundațiile ar putea fi cel mai mare dezastru natural din Kazahstan, în termeni de amploare și impact, timp de 80 de ani. „Trebuie să învățăm toate lecțiile din aceste inundații pe scară largă”, a spus el, într-un discurs.
