A police pursuit of a BMW ended Wednesday with a crash, fire and rescue of the suspect from the burning vehicle by officers at the scene in Valley Glen.
Los Angeles police were chasing the suspect vehicle down Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Oxnard Street for an unknown reason Wednesday afternoon when the BMW struck another car and burst into flames, said officers at the scene, who told a photographer that an innocent woman in another vehicle was injured in the crash.
Two LAPD officers then pulled the injured male suspect from the burning BMW. After Los Angeles firefighters arrived on scene, the man was transported to a local hospital.
