Libra Bank Has New Deputy General Manager

The National Bank of Romania approved the appointment of Lucian Anghel as Deputy General Director of Libra Bank. Lucian Anghel will coordinate the bank’s risk area (Chief Risk Officer) and is also Libra Internet Bank’s chief economist.

Anghel was the president of the Council of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), CEO of BCR Pensii, chief economist of BCR, CEO of BCR Banca pentru Locuințe, Banca Românească and Eximbank.

Libra Internet Bank was established in 1996 in Bucharest and is part of the American investment group New Century Holdings (NCH). The bank specialized in offering products and services dedicated to liberal professions and companies in Real Estate and Agribusiness.
