Oaks festival returns in Cobor village, Brasov in June

“Cobor printre stejari/Descent between the oaks”, the festival dedicated to the oaks around the village of Cobor, invites nature lovers and unique experiences to the second edition. The event organized by the Conservation Carpathia Foundation will take place during the Pentecost mini-holiday, on June 22-23, at the Cobor Biodiversity Farm.

The festival is an opportunity to get to know the local community, to discover an area with a special natural biodiversity, to highlight the centuries-old oak meadows in the Cobor village area and, why not, to dance barefoot on the grass. The event also represents the commitment to preserve and restore centuries-old oak meadows.

“Cobor entre Stejari” is an invitation for lovers of simple living and for those eager to discover local cultural and natural values. Guided tours of the village will be organized during the day, hikes to the meadows with centuries-old oaks, hikes to the oaks that are now taking root, but also tours to the Cobor Biodiversity Farm.

The hiking trails will be slightly different so that those who have been to the festival before can discover new landscapes. In the two evenings of the festival, the music of Ana Coman, the Moonlight Breakfast band, but also Tarafulu de Caliu and Viorica will enliven the courtyard of the Cobor Biodiversity Farm.

Children’s activities and local dishes will not be missing from this edition, all for a unique summer experience. Those who want to share the relaxation and joy with their loved ones will be able to do so with the help of postcards, sent right from the spot.

Tickets are available at LiveTickets.ro.
