Orizont Hub Bacău commissioned following RON 21.8 M investment

Orizont Hub, a coworking space in Bacău in which almost 22 million lei were invested, was inaugurated at the end of last week, it was built on the ruins of the former Ori-zont cinema. The hub was created by Bacău City Hall to support entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs who develop businesses or intend to do so in one of the creative and cultural industries.

Creative and cultural industries include areas such as arts & crafts, media (televisions, radio, printing), IT – software development, video game production, advertising, fashion, design, performing arts (music, dance), architecture, photography, movie.

Orizont Hub has 680 square meters and was created by consolidating, reconfiguring and modernizing the former Orizont cinema. The hub will organize activities such as incubation, individual mentoring (1 to 1), organizing public events and networking sessions, cultural exhibitions, creative workshops and courses in various creative fields such as photography, design, creative writing, software development ware, gaming. Also, film screenings and events of the city’s organizations will be organized, but with a focus on the entrepreneurial community.

The total value of the financing contract was 21,847,604 lei, of which the public contribution was 9,485,954 lei. The investment in the construction of Hub Orizont was 10,623,803 lei, without VAT. The project is co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund through Regio – Regional Operational Program 2014-2020. Priority Axis 2 Improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, Investment Priority 2.1.
