William a oferit o scurtă actualizare despre soția sa, care și-a amânat îndatoririle regale în public, după ce a fost diagnosticată cu cancer.

„Vă supărați dacă vă întreb ce mai fac soția și copiii dumneavoastră?”, a întrebat una dintre femei, așa cum se vede într-o înregistrare video transmisă pe Instagram de contul de fani WalesVideos.

„Suntem cu toții bine, vă mulțumesc”, a răspuns William.

Kate Middleton a fost diagnosticată cu cancer

Kate Middleton a fost diagnosticată cu cancer și a început ședințele de chimioterapie, a anunțat recent ea într-un mesaj video, în care a spus că ultimele două luni au fost „incredibil de dificile pentru întreaga familie”. Diagnosticul ei vine după ce regele Charles al III-lea a anunțat, în februarie, că suferă și el de cancer, transmite NY Times.

„În ianuarie, am suferit o intervenție chirurgicală abdominală majoră la Londra și, la momentul respectiv, s-a crezut că afecțiunea mea era necanceroasă”, a anunţat Catherine, în vârstă de 42 de ani.

Prinţesa de Wales a mai spus că operația a fost un succes, însă testele efectuate după operație au descoperit că fusese prezent un cancer.

„Prin urmare, echipa mea medicală m-a sfătuit să urmez o cură de chimioterapie preventivă și acum mă aflu în primele etape ale acestui tratament”, a transmis Kate Middleton.

Prințesa de Walles a continuat: „După cum vă puteți imagina, acest lucru a necesitat timp. Mi-a luat timp să mă recuperez după o intervenție chirurgicală majoră pentru a-mi începe tratamentul. Dar, cel mai important, ne-a luat timp să le explicăm totul lui George, Charlotte și Louis într-un mod adecvat pentru ei și să îi asigurăm că voi fi bine.”
