ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Traffic has been backed up since Thursday morning around the entrance to Kirtland Air Force Base on Louisiana and Gibson as activists have blocked the street in protest of the U.S. Governments financial support of Israel’s war in Gaza.
Protesters have been blocking the entrance since around 6:30 Thursday morning. The protest has been peaceful. Some protestors are tied to cement filled barrels to strengthen their lines. KRQE News 13 has a crew on scene of the protest.
