Spoilers ahead. The final episode begins with Gu San-Yeong, who starts behaving normally after being possessed by Hyangi’s ghost. She goes to the cafe to meet her mother and her best friend. She embraces them. In the meantime, Yeom Hae-Sang and the detective Lee Hong-Sae (Hong Kyung) approach her. She seems normal, and the shadow also returns to its normal self. While San-Yeong tries to make them believe, Hae-Sang gets an itch about it. He starts to seal all five objects to bind the evil spirit.

However, Hyangi (the evil spirit) reveals to San-Yeong’s mother that she has banished her soul inside a mirror. She asks Gyeong-Mun to kill the professor if she wants her daughter to live. She tries but fails to do so, and Hae-Sang learns about the soul-shifting scenario. In the meantime, Lee Hong-Sae keeps an eye on her. After getting caught, Hyangi tells him everything is over. He rushes back to meet Hae-Sang. After watching CCTV surveillance, they figured it was not the five objects and the name they needed; it was the missing finger.

Hong-Sae and Hae-Sang start to search Hae-Sang’s house but still can’t find the finger. At that time, Hyangi takes a wrong step and gets trapped in her plan. Hae-Sang follows Hyangi to get his hand on the finger, but when he tries to burn it, she starts to hurt Gu San-Yeong’s body. Meanwhile, San-Yeong (Kim Tae-Ri) fights with herself inside the mirror. When Hyangi tries to take the finger with her, San-Yeong takes over her body through a mirror inside the room. She finally burns the finger and gets rid of the evil spirit.

Almost at the end of the episode of Revenant, Gu San-Yeong tries to practice keeping her eyes closed at her cafe. Earlier in the drama, it mentioned that she has a disorder that will make her go blind within 5 to 6 or 2 to 3 years. The episode ends by showing how she is trying to keep her life in balance and give a break when needed. In the end, she enjoys a firework festival with Hae-Sang. There, she slowly loses her eyesight. The creators concluded it on a subtle cliffhanger.
