By winning three straight, the Chicago Cubs have gotten things turned around after losing their first two games of the season.
After dominating Colorado in the first two games, the Cubs will seek a three-game sweep of the Rockies at Wrigley Field on Wednesday night.

On Monday, the Cubs exploded for five runs over a two-inning span in a 5-0 shutout of the Rockies, highlighted by a two-hit effort in six innings of work for left-hander Shota Imanaga in his Chicago debut.
And on Tuesday, Chicago’s offense struck early for seven runs in the first four innings in a 12-2 rout of Colorado. The Cubs went deep four times, including the first homers of the season for Seiya Suzuki and Cody Bellinger.
On Wednesday, the Cubs will send out left-hander Luke Little to make his first Major League start. Little has made two appearances this season, including tossing a scoreless ninth inning in Tuesday’s victory. In a bullpen game for manager Craig Counsell, the southpaw is not expected to go far into the game.
The Rockies counter with former Cleveland right-hander Cal Quantrill, who allowed five runs and nine hits over five innings in his 2024 debut last Friday.
