Mai multe explozii s-au produs luni, 25 martie, la Kiev, Rusia lansând un nou atac cu rachete asupra Capitalei Ucrainei. Sirenele de raid aerian au răsunat în jurul orei locale 10.30 (aceeași oră în România – n.r.), iar locuitorii au fost avertizați să meargă în adăposturi cât mai rapid posibil, relatează The Kyiv Independent.
Primarul Kievului, Vitali Klitschko, a afirmat că serviciile de urgență au fost chemate în mai multe zone ale Capitalei, printre care districtele Pechersk , Solomyanskyi și Dniprovskyi.
Cel puțin șapte persoane au fost rănite în urma loviturilor, potrivit datelor anunțate de oficial pe pagina sa de Telegram.

Ucraina a anunțat că a distrus cele două rachete balistice rusești îndreptate spre Kiev și lansate din Crimeea.
Șeful administrației militare a orașului Kiev, Serghei Popko, a precizat că resturi de la o rachetă interceptată au căzut în cartierul Pechersk din oraș, avariind o clădire nerezidențială.
Clădirea lovită este cea a Academiei de Stat de Arte Decorative și Aplicate din Kiev, iar sala de sport și sala de concerte ale academiei au fost distruse, potrivit unui reporter al The Kyiv Independent care citează angajați ai instituției.
De asemenea, resturi de rachete au căzut în cartierul Solomyanskyi, unde o clădire rezidențială înaltă a fost avariată.
Fragmente ale unei rachete interceptate au fost găsite și într-o zonă împădurită din districtul Holosiivskyi, mai notează publicația citată.
Precedentul atac masiv al Rusiei asupra Kievului a avut loc pe 21 martie. Cel puțin 13 persoane au fost atunci rănite și mai multe clădiri rezidențiale, distruse.
