Santa Fe asks locals to weigh in on city budget

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe is working on developing the city’s budget, and they are asking locals to weigh in on priorities. The input will help shape the fiscal year 2025 budget.

To develop the budget, the city is hosting budget hearings from April 16 through April 30. The public can comment at a “Petitions from the Floor” session on April 10.

That meeting will be at 5:00 p.m. It will be part of the city’s governing body meeting at City Hall.

Santa Fe will also take comments via Zoom during the meeting. Click this link to access the Zoom meeting, and raise your hand (virtually via Zoom chat) to speak during the public comment period.

Written comments can be submitted online after 5:00 p.m. on April 5 in the link connected to the meeting agenda. This year, the main theme for the budget is investing in the city’s workforce.
