SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe police are investigating a shooting Sunday evening in the 900 block of Verdinal Lane.
Police say officers responded to the area for reports of a large fight and shots being fired around 7:21 p.m. Police found once gunshot victim on the scene, he was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital in critical condition. A female victim was also found on scene, police believe she struck with a vehicle. The female victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police say a vehicle involved in the incident crashed into a home in the area. Police say one suspect believed to be involved has been detained. The investigation is active and anyone with information is asked to contact the Santa Fe Police Department.
