ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Solomon Peña, the suspected mastermind behind the shootings at four politician’s homes from late 2022 to early 2023, is now facing more charges. A federal grand jury returned a superseding indictment against the former state House candidate.
A charge of using a firearm during a violent crime was replaced with using a machine gun during a violent crime. Four other charges were tacked on including being a felon in possession and three counts of solicitation to commit a violent crime.
