Cei patru atacatori înarmați s-au îndreptat cu calm spre detectoarele de metale de la Crocus City Hall, trăgând cu armele lor automate de la mică distanță, în rafale scurte, asupra civililor îngroziți care au căzut țipând sub o ploaie de gloanțe, scrie sâmbătă, 23 martie, agenția Reuters, după ce a reușit să discute cu unii dintre supraviețuitorii masacrului care a zguduit aseară Rusia.
În apropiere, o martoră pe nume Natalia tocmai își scosese haina și stătea la coadă, vineri seară, la intrarea sălii de concerte cu 6.200 de locuri situată lângă Moscova, unde grupul rock din epoca sovietică “Picnic” urma să cânte hitul său “Afraid of Nothing” (“Nu mă tem de nimic”).
“Împușcăturile au venit din spatele nostru”, a spus Natalia, care a cerut ca numele ei de familie să nu fie folosit. Ea tocmai se pregătea să intre în cabinele de la concert.
“A fost zgomotos, ca o explozie de petarde, ca focurile de artificii, dar ca o explozie automată. Am putut să o aud chiar în spatele meu, nu departe”, a povestit Natalia, pentru Reuters.
Apoi, Natalia a fugit pentru a-și salva viața.
“Toată lumea țipa; toată lumea fugea”, a spus ea. A fugit la stația de metrou din apropiere prin noaptea rece a Moscovei, fără haină, și a scăpat. “Am trecut prin emoții teribile. A fost pur și simplu un coșmar”, a adăugat femeia.
Reuters menționează că a reușit să reconstituie o parte din ceea ce s-a petrecut în sala de concerte din interviurile cu martorii, din înregistrările video de la fața locului, din informațiile oficiale rusești și din relatările presei.

Peste 143 de persoane au fost ucise și cel puțin alte o sută au fost rănite în cel mai sângeros atac care a avut loc în Rusia, după asediul de la școala din Beslan din 2004. Statul Islamic a revendicat responsabilitatea pentru atac. Oficialiu ruși au confirmat până acum doar 133 de morți, în timp ce bilanțul de 143 de oameni uciși a fost dezvăluit de șefa postului Russia Today, Margarita Simonyan, care nu a precizat de unde are informația.
Serviciul Federal de Securitate al Rusiei (FSB, fostul KGB) a anunțat că 11 persoane – inclusiv cei patru presupuși atacatori – au fost reținute în regiunea Briansk, la aproximativ 340 km sud-vest de Moscova, în timp ce se îndreptau spre granița peste care sperau să fugă în Ucraina. Kievul a negat vehement orice implicare în acest atac.
Camuflaj și veste de luptă
Atacatorii, îmbrăcați în haine de camuflaj și cu veste de luptă care ascundeau zeci de încărcătoare de rezervă, au ajuns la Crocus City Hall în jurul orei locale 19:40 (16:40 GMT) într-un microbuz, coborând pe ușa din spate și îndreptându-se spre intrare cu armele lor, au declarat martorii.
Ei au tras direct prin ușile de sticlă ale intrării principale, deschizând focul asupra tuturor celor care le treceau prin față.
Zeci de cadavre, unele în bălți de sânge, zăceau nemișcate pe podelele de marmură și la intrarea principală.
Unii oameni au spart ferestrele și au încercat să blocheze ușile cu mâinile, în timp ce împușcăturile răsunau în sala veche de 14 ani, situată la doar 20 km vest de Kremlin.
După ce i-au împușcat pe oamenii de la intrare, cei patru bărbați s-au îndreptat spre sala principală chiar în momentul în care sute de oameni își ocupau locurile la concertul care se desfășuta cu “casa închisă”.
“Unii au crezut că a fost un fel de efect special”, a declarat pentru Reuters o altă martoră, Anastasia Rodionova. “Apoi am văzut cu ochii mei cum oamenii cădeau și au început focurile de armă automată”, a povestit ea.
“Instinctul de autoconservare intră în funcțiune, ochii ți se deschid, unde pot fugi? Apoi cineva ne-a strigat: ridicați-vă – nu vă întindeți sau ne vor împușca pe toți chiar acum”, a adăugat ea.
Rodionova a spus că unii bărbați au reușit să spargă o ușă care dădea spre stradă și au scăpat.
În difuzoare a început să se audă un anunț potrivit căruia concertul se anulează din “motive tehnice” și că oamenii sunt rugați să părăsească sala.
Goana pentru a scăpa cu viață
O înregistrarea video verificată de Reuters arată cum oamenii se grăbeau spre ieșiri, în timp ce focuri de armă repetate răsunau peste țipete. Atacatorii s-au plimbat prin sala de concerte țintind și apoi trăgând asupra civililor, cu rafale controlate.
“Au început să tragă în noi. Am căzut pe podea”, a declarat o femeie rănită, pentru publicația BRIEF, de pe un pat de spital din Moscova. Ea s-a târât până la ieșiri. “O fată de lângă mine a fost ucisă”, și-a amintit ea.
Unii au fugit pentru a scăpa de atacatori. Alții s-au ascuns în spatele scaunelor maronii. O femeie a spus că i-a spus prietenei ei să se întindă în spatele scaunelor, în timp ce focurile de armă deveneau din ce în ce mai puternice.
Anchetatorii ruși au spus că atacatorii au început să dea foc clădirii. Unii martori povestesc că atacatorii au turnat un lichid pe scaune și pe perdele în mai multe locuri înainte de a le da foc.
Martorii au mai povestit că au sărit peste foc, unii dintre ei cu hainele topite, pentru a scăpa din incendiul care s-a extins rapid pe o suprafață de 12.900 de metri pătrați, trimițând flăcări și un nor negru de fum pe cerul nopții.
“Trăgeau. Noi eram în colțul îndepărtat”, a declarat Andrei, unul dintre martori, pentru Reuters, chiar la fața locului. “Am coborât pe căile de evacuare în caz de incendiu, spre ieșirea din spate”, a adăugat el.
Acoperișul s-a prăbușit apoi și sute de pompieri s-au luptat ore întregi pentru a stăpâni incendiul care a distrus întreaga sală. Tot ce a rămas au fost grinzile de susținere din fier, carbonizate, și cadrele de oțel a sute de scaune.
Canalul de telegram Baza, cunoscut pentru contactele sale strânse cu serviciile speciale ruse, a scris că 14 cadavre au fost găsite pe scările de evacuare și 28 de cadavre au fost găsite într-una dintre toalete.
Au fost găsite cadavrele unor familii întregi, mame moarte care își îmbrățișau copiii morți.
