The private hospital for plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive microsurgery Swiss Hospital exceeded 800 surgical interventions performed in 2023, in the operating room, by the teams of employed doctors and collaborators of the network.
The most requested interventions, in 2023, in the Swiss Clinics network were: breast implant, rhinoplasty, liposuction, abdominoplasty and blepharoplasty.
Swiss Clinics estimates that in 2024, the facelift will rise to the top of the most requested cosmetic surgery interventions. The estimate takes into account the growing demand in the first months of the year for this type of intervention – for example, last week, 3 face-lift interventions were carried out in one day at the Swiss Hospital.
“Medical aesthetics in Romania is driven by increasing public awareness of the individual aspect, thus propelling an increased desire for interventions. This shift in cultural norms, combined with a growing awareness of the various solutions available to a widening audience, has been instrumental in the market’s upward trajectory. The increasing recognition and acceptance of aesthetic interventions in Romania reflects an evolving mindset towards improving personal aesthetics,” says Valentin Burada, founder of Swiss Clinics.
According to estimates, the age range of patients will continue to widen, while the difference between female versus male patients seeking aesthetic interventions will decrease.
Anticipating this trend, Swiss Hospital operates a division dedicated to men, Swiss Men being the first 100% male aesthetic division in Romania. Swiss Men specifically addresses the solution of aesthetic situations specific to men, such as gynecomastia and hair regeneration therapies.
In Bucharest, Swiss Hospital has 10 medical offices and its own operating room, equipped to the highest standards, which can support both simple and complex surgical interventions, part of multidisciplinary interventions.
