The upcoming suspense C-drama In the Name of the Brother will meet viewers on April 21, 2024. It features popular actors Yang Mi and Qin Hao in the main roles. It is set during the Sino-Japanese war in the Manchukuo Regime in Harbin, which was completely under Japan’s control.
Song Zhuowen (Qin Hao) and Song Zhuowu are twin brothers. Zhuowen works as an underground communist party member. While working in the disguise of a railway policeman, Guan Xue (Yang Mi), the head of the secret service, mistakenly identifies him as his twin brother, Zhuowu.
Amidst all the chaos, Zhuowu resurfaces in his brother’s life. The brothers are completely contrasting in nature. While Zhuowen is calm and has a functioning mind, Zhuowu is impulsive and hot-headed. Despite their differences, the twins form an allegiance. While Zhuowen fights in the frontline, Zhuowu backs him up from the shadows.

The twins work side by side to discover the secrets of the Soviet Union and the Japanese army. Furthermore, they gain the trust of high-ranking officers and expose many spies who have joined hands with the enemy.
The authorities appointed section chief Guan Xue, who has been appointed to catch the twins. She has a fierce and determined personality and is bent on punishing anyone who messes with her.
Other than the lead actors, In the Name of the Brother will also feature Zhang Zi Xian, Song Yun Hao, Jiang Qi Ming, Luan Yuan Hui, Rain Wang, Lin Jia Chuan, Li Dong Heng, Feng Bing, Li Yu Xuan, Liu Yu Xuan etc. in pivotal roles. Zhang Li is the director of the drama, while Wang Xiao Qiang is the screenwriter.
