The upcoming romantic fantasy C-drama Life Is a Choice has begun filming and will meet viewers soon. It features Cass Gai (Gai Yue Xi) and Luo Zheng in the main roles. The drama team held a booting ceremony on April 11, 2024, to mark the beginning of filming of the anticipated drama.
A booting ceremony or a prayer ceremony in the C-drama world is an important event. It takes place before the filming of an upcoming drama. The ceremony usually takes place in accordance with Buddhist beliefs and rituals.
The drama tells the story of Gu Nian (Cass Gu), who has been in an abusive marriage for seven years. It drains her physically as well as emotionally. After her husband abandons her, she feels free. With her newfound freedom, she decides to enjoy life to the fullest. Gu Nian comes across such high technology that can send her back in time and give her an opportunity to alter her life decisions.

Gu Nian decides to give it a chance. She goes back to her college days and lands on the graduation year. However, due to her over-enthusiasm, she makes a silly mistake. While pressing the buttons, she ignores the person’s gender and returns to being a strange boy.
Unfortunately, her journey is not as smooth as she thought it would be. She experiences one setback after another. What happens when she finds herself facing multiple choices?

The drama will be a mini-series that will release a total of 12 episodes. Not much is known about the drama as of yet.
