The much-awaited Wuxia C-drama Ya She has updated fans with the cast details of the upcoming drama. The director of the drama is Zhao Qichen, who gained popularity for his drama, New Life Begins. It is an adaptation of the famous novel of the same name by Xuan Se. The original broadcasting networks of Ya She are Tencent Video, Xinli, and Rinx. Although the network giants have not revealed a release date for the drama, it is speculated to meet viewers sometime in 2024.
Tencent Video is yet to release an official synopsis for the drama. Reportedly, it will follow the story of a veterinarian, who joins hands with a businessman from the future who deals in antiques. They track down many lost valuables and solve many mysteries together. Their fates intertwine because of an age-old antique shop.

On April 5, 2024, the drama team released an official statement that revealed the cast details of the drama. Prominent actors Gao Weiguang and Leon Leong will act in the main roles in the drama. Gao Weiguang has acted in various dramas and movies including The Outsider, Operation: Special Warfare, Sword Snow Stride, Dreams and Glory, Eternal Love of Dream, V Love, Miss S, Xuan-Yuan Sword: Han Cloud, etc.
Leon Leong has appeared in Song of Life, A Robot in the Orange Orchard, Definitely Not Today, Run for Young, My Love, Enlighten Me, Project 17: Side By Side, Another Me, etc.
