The upcoming Thai BL series I Saw You In My Dream has lifted the curtain on its official pilot. The Thai Drama stars Putter Phubase Pratumrat and Ryu Ingkarat Damrongsakkul in the lead roles. I Saw You In My Dream is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Afterday.
I Saw You In My Dream follows the story of Ai (Ryu), who dreams about events related to his life on the last night of the sixth and twelfth month of every year. Those dreams often turn into reality. However, Ai has never had a dream about love. That changes soon as the same year he dreams about a warm love life with a gentle and loving man. However, he refuses to believe it as the person he sees in his dream is his neighbor, Yu (Putter), who constantly annoys him.

The pilot begins with Ai narrating, “Someone once said that when we sleep, we are similar to a box that is being unlocked…became something deeply embedded in our subconscious mind, will be revealed as an image. Or as we all call [it], a dream.” The pilot shows Ai trying to put a star on a Christmas tree but trips and falls over. However, Yu saves Ai from falling and goes in for a kiss. Ai then wakes up from this romantic dream and exclaims “No!”
Ai continues to narrate his dislike towards his next-door neighbor, Yu. He says the two can never be on friendly terms. Yu has been playing pranks on Ai since they were young. Despite that, Ai and Yu get closer. However, things turn tragic when Ai sees Yu getting hit by a car in one of his prophetic dreams. He begins to look into ways to stop the nightmare from becoming reality. Ai gets suggested that if he could dream longer, he might be able to help Yu.
Ai takes pills and goes into a deep sleep. There, he breaks the veil that has been stopping him from getting close to Yu, who lies unconscious on a hospital bed. The pilot ends on a mysterious note as the medical monitors go off, indicating that Yu has lost his life. However, Yu then wakes up and shares a kiss with Ai.
From chemistry to an intriguing plotline, I Saw You In My Dream is sure to keep viewers hooked!
