Vampire Dormitory episode 2 recap

The episode starts with Mito waking up beside Ruka, which causes her to panic and wake him up. He tells him it’s only for the sake of him falling in love to sweeten his blood and goes on to drink it. Ruka then introduces him to Komori, his butler, who arrives to give her a school uniform for the school.
Later, Mito attends class and meets many people, but one student, Ren, seems to observe her. After school, Mito joins Ruka at Komori’s cafe. She meets Takara and Juri, who are Ruka’s close friends there. Takara treats her nicely, but Juri doesn’t trust her and starts questioning her, causing her to knock over a shelf. Ruka enters and saves her. Mito helps Ruka back to the room and gives him blood to drink. However, she feels terrible that her blood isn’t sweet.
She tells Ruka to be careful, but the latter brushes it off, comparing her to 2D characters. Elsewhere, Ruka is confronted by Ren, who notices the vampire bite on her neck and tells her to run away. However, she defends Ruka and tells him she has nowhere to go if she leaves. Ren tells her he is worried about her and wants to protect her while Ruka watches from afar.
