TIJERAS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Village of Tijeras is inviting the community to get out and pick up trash during its Earth Day cleanup event on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The village is teaming up with Bernalillo County, City of Albuquerque, Canon De Carnue Land Grant and PFM for the event. There will be five dump sites set up for people to dump any trash they clean up. Each site will have supplies that can be picked up including gloves and bags. People who pick up trash and turn in the bag at one of the sites get a shirt and a plastic-free water bottle. For more information, click here.
