Visit Albuquerque offering thousands of dollars’ worth of grants to boost tourism

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – For-profit businesses and non-profits can apply for thousands of dollars’ worth of grants to boost Albuquerque’s vibrancy and tourism. All told, Visit Albuquerque is preparing to offer around $500,000 in grants for 2024.

“We are excited to launch the 2024 Tourism Grant Program and provide a platform for innovative ideas that will enhance Albuquerque’s appeal as a destination,” Tania Armenta, president and CEO of Visit Albuquerque, said in a press release. “Last year’s grant cycle produced creative and meaningful projects that have been growing the tourism economy and benefiting our community. We believe that by investing in unique projects and experiences, we can showcase the diverse offerings of our city and further establish Albuquerque as a must-visit destination, and we can’t wait to see what inspiring projects are submitted for consideration this year.”

Businesses bringing new cultural programs, unique experiences, or infrastructure improvements can apply for grants. The overall goal is to stimulate the city’s growth and boost visitors.
