Renowned South Korean screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung is all set to write a brand-new K-drama. It will potentially star notable actors like Gong Yoo and Song Hye-Kyo. As reported by OSEN on Thursday, April 25, 2024, the upcoming project’s production will cost around 80 billion KRW.
Studio Dragon, the production company producing the new Noh Hee Kyung K-drama, has recently responded to the media report about the project’s cost. The company has clearly stated that the drama’s production cost, cast, and episode numbers have not yet been decided. They have explained that the project is still at a very early stage.

As mentioned above, Studio Dragon has responded to a news report about writer Noh Hee Kyung’s upcoming K-drama’s production cost. The production company also stated about the project’s episode numbers and cast members.
As per Newsen, the statement reads, “It is still in the early stages of planning, so the production cost has not been set. Casting and episodes are all undecided.” Thus, it is not confirmed whether the cost of the new Korean drama will be 80 billion KRW or not. And the cast, which may potentially include Gong Yoo and Song Hye-Kyo, is still not confirmed.
Screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung has previously worked on the scripts of several noteworthy K-dramas. The list includes the 2014 K-drama series, It’s Okay, That’s Love, and the 2022 tvN series Our Blues. Noh Hee Kyung has also written That Winter, the Wind Blows, Live, Dear My Friends, Goodbye Solo, The Most Beautiful Goodbye, and many more. That Winter, the Wind Blows starred actress Song Hye-Kyo. Apart from that, Song Hye-Kyo has also worked with the writer in another series titled Worlds Within.
