Woman rescued by local crews after hurting knee in Foothills

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A tourist in Albuquerque was rescued in the Foothills after officials said she injured her knee while hiking.

Officials said the woman was hiking on the Piedra Lisa North Trail while in town for a conference.


Feds: Cannabis seizures in New Mexico to continue

Crews from BCSO Open Space, APD, and Bernalillo County Fire Rescue hiked 2 miles to the woman and brought her back down to an ambulance.

Officials said the woman will be fine.
