Woodsist Festival has unveiled the full artist lineup for its 2024 return on September 21 and 22. Fifteen years after its 2009 debut, the vaunted indie label’s annual get-together will celebrate five years at Accord, N.Y.’s Arrowood Farms by welcoming fourteen Woodsist artists and friends upstate for a serene weekend of music and community. This year’s all-star bill is topped by Yo La Tengo, Real Estate, Jessica Pratt and, of course, Woods, all of which will return to Woodsist Festival after years away.
Woodsist Festival has taken many forms since its 2009 debut, bouncing from coast to coast and stage to stage before finding its home at Arrowood Farms in 2019. Iconic indie-rock quintet Real Estate has witnessed all of these phases, having joined the inaugural lineup and taken part in all but four iterations since; this fall, the band will mark its eighth Woodsist Festival appearance and join in the fun for the first time in five years.
Freak-folk singer-songwriter Jessica Pratt is another legacy selection, whose headline set this year will be her third with the festival after appearances in 2013 and 2016. Even the 40-year genre-bending rock vanguard Yo La Tengo is no stranger to the experience after headlining on the farm in 2021. Other enticing acts billed for 2024 include Hailu Mergia, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Jeff Parker, Etran de L’Aïr, The Messthetics and Woods, whose frontman Jeremy Earl has curated the festival’s lineup since its inception.
Beyond the music, attendees can relish in the surroundings of Arrowood Farms, a sustainability-focused farm, brewery, and distillery that also hosts beloved events like Dirt Farmer Festival and Marco Benevento’s Follow The Arrow Festival. Other attractions on site will include gourmet food, craft beer, and crafts from local Hudson Valley-based artisans and vendors.
