AFR firefighter pleads guilty to DWI charge

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque firefighter arrested for drunk driving last month admitted guilty and was sentenced on Monday. Mateo Keyohara was pulled over on March 22 near Rio Grande and Indian School after officers noticed his truck speeding and hitting curbs. His blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit.


Former UNM football player found guilty of robbing postal worker

Keyohara pled guilty to his first DWI offense and Judge Joshua Sanchez gave him a deferred sentence. If he successfully completes one year of supervised probation, the charge will be dropped from his record.
