MORIARTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Moriarty Fire Department is on the scene of a fire they say killed one person. Crews say they responded to the scene in reference to a vehicle and grass fire at 10:30 a.m. They say the fire started from a collision involving an RV and semi-truck.
Crews say one person died on scene and another person was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Right now, I-40 eastbound is closed in that area.
