27th Annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Festival at the Nuclear Science and History Museum

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History is teaming up with the Sandia National Laboratories Asian Leadership Outreach Committee and museum partner to host the 27th Annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage festival on May 4 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The event celebrates the cultural traditions, native languages, ancestry and experiences among ethnic groups from Asia and the Pacific. Opening May 1, is a special exhibition that highlights the contributions of eight different Asian American Pacific Islanders.

There will be cultural performances, music Japanese floral arrangements, Chinese art, food samples and plenty of activities for guests to enjoy while celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage. The event is included with museum admission. For more information, click here.
