Albuquerque City Council approves funding for several projects

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Monday evening The Albuquerque City Council unanimously voted to authorize the sale of Gross Receipt Tax Improvement Revenue Bonds to secure $22.5 million to fund projects around Albuquerque.


Three Albuquerque city councilors propose changes to city charter

The funding will go towards seven projects: the Southwest Public Safety Center, City Youth Shelters, Cibola Loop Multigenerational Center, the Gateway Center, the Westside Emergency Housing Shelter, the Railyards and acquiring a helicopter for the Albuquerque Police Department.
