ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Saturday, runners battled the gusty winds in the metro for the Albuquerque Half Marathon.
Athletes could run the half marathon, 10K, or 5K. The event even offered a “Kids K” for the younger people who wanted to get out.

The half marathon crossed the Rio Grande through the North Valley, but the weather made the run a little more challenging.
Those who finished the run received a medal and a T-shirt. There were also age groups and overall awards for the fastest runners.
