ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Assessor’s Office is sending out annual Notice of Value statements to property owners starting April 1.
The Notice of Value outlines information on the property including the owner, property description, property valuation and more. Anyone who owns taxable property in the county gets a Notice of Value. Property owners are encouraged to carefully look over their Notice of Value and make sure all information is correct. All property owners have 30 days from the mailing date to file an appeal or protest of the assessed value. Appeals can be filed online, mailed or in person.
