Brunch Electronik is coming to Los Angeles in July and September

The Barcelona-based event Brunch Electronik will set up shop in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 6 and Saturday, Sept. 21.

The two dates mark the first time the event has come to the United States. Last year, the project debuted its first festival in Spain and returned this year with Black Coffee, Fatboy Slim, and Jayda G topping the three-day event. Fans can sign up for the presale at laylo.com.

Brunch Electronik began in Spain in 2013 as a Sunday afternoon weekly party that combined music, food and sustainability. It’s since popped up in other parts of the world, including Madrid, Spain; Paris, France; Lisbon, Portugal; Lima, Peru; and São Paulo, Brazil.

The organizers are partnering with the Los Angeles-based production company Minimal Effort, which has curated electronic music lineups in unique locations throughout the city. Its parent company, Underrated Presents, is behind Clinic Wednesdays, which has organized weekly parties at Hollywood’s Station 1640 featuring established and rising DJs.

SBCLTR, the production company that co-founded the Labryinto festival in Costa Rica, will also be joining the partnership with Brunch Electronik and Minimal Effort.

The locations for the Los Angeles events haven’t been announced, but Brunch Electronik’s social media will provide more information in the coming months.
