Noteworthy: Lavin helped the Lions extend their Marmonte League win streak to 35 games with a 7-5 victory over Westlake. She entered Thursday’s rivalry game in the first inning as the Lions surrendered five runs. She pitched the Lions out of the jam and finished with six scoreless innings and four strikeouts.
