A diagram in which a line or a curve shows the relationship between two quantities or more.
Pictorial representation of relationship between the quantities.
Type of Graphs :-
Geometrical Graph
Circle , ellipse, hyperbola , parabola.
Algebraic Graph
Geometrical Graph :-
Circle Graph :- x2 + y 2 = a 2
Parabolic Graph :-
Simple parabola
y = x2
Half parabola
y = x
Vertical parabola
y = ax2 +bx + c
A + = upward parabola & A – = downward parabola
Systematic parabola
y = x3
Linear Function :-
y = x or y = a x + b
y = x
y = a x + b
